Why did you start your business?

“I started Watersedge Farms out of a love for animals and healthy living. I wanted to create all-natural, high-quality treats that I could trust for my own pets, and it grew from there into a full-time passion for crafting wholesome pet food.”

What other interests do you have?

“Outside of farming and crafting pet treats, I enjoy exploring the art of food and drink — from whiskey, wine, and craft beer to making cheese at home. I love experimenting with flavors and sharing what I create with friends and family.”

On my visit to the farm I noticed you have guest units, do you rent these?

“Yes! Watersedge Farms offers guest units for rent. You can find us on Airbnb and VRBO, and we also welcome traveling surgeons visiting the area.”

Custom and personalized orders

“Yes! We supply our premium escargot to local restaurants, supporting chefs who value high-quality, sustainably farmed ingredients.”

Do you sell your chicken eggs from your farm?

“Yes! We sell our farm-fresh chicken eggs, which are also used in crafting our all-natural pet treats.”

What other products do you make and sell?

“We make and sell a wide variety of specialty pet foods, including meals and treats for gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, reptiles, pet rats and mice, rabbits, chickens, and more.”

Do you produce special orders?

“Yes! We produce special orders and custom products. Currently, we’re working on dog food toppers and Tarantula food, and we love fulfilling unique requests from our customers.”
